Stately Ti Plant

                                                                                          The Stately Ti Plant

As the Stately Ti Plant grows and matures it never knows what the lovely, rich dark green leaves and roots will be used for. Will it be used for a Ho’okupu (an offering), a beautiful lei, a hula skirt or be used to wrap and cook food or for medicinal use?  The root when fermented can be used to make beer and distilled to make a brandy called “Okolehao.”
